Dean of the Faculty of Biology – prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Spalik
His research focuses on the phylogeny, evolution, taxonomy, and biogeography of plants. Krzysztof Spalik teaches botany, evolutionary biology and environmental education.
Vice-Dean for Research – dr hab. Piotr Bębas, prof UW
His research focuses on chronobiology and molecular physiology of insects. Privately in love with cats – he shares his household with 14 of them.
Vice- Dean for Finance – prof. dr hab. Łukasz Drewniak
Experienced microbiologist and environmental biotechnologist, he specialises in bioremediation. For last ten years, he has conducted over ten research projects in these fields.
Vice-Dean for Students Affairs – dr hab. Magdalena Markowska
Her research focuses on physiology and ecophysiology. Magdalena Markowska teaches courses and lectures for students at the Faculty of Warsaw, and students from other Faculties, e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Artes Liberales, and Polish Studies.
