The latest monograph on environmental education edited by Dr Marcin Chrzanowski

The Academic Publishing House of the Maria Grzegorzewska University (APS) has published a monograph edited, among others, by Dr Marcin Chrzanowski from the Biology Didactics Unit of our Faculty, entitled “Świadomi natury: edukacja, zrównoważony rozwój, odpowiedzialność, bezpieczeństwo” (“Aware of Nature: Education, Sustainable Development, Responsibility, Safety”).

The book is devoted to contemporary challenges related to environmental education, sustainable development, and the relationship between humans and nature in the 21st century. It is an interdisciplinary publication that addresses, among other issues, ecological security, education in the context of the development of digital technologies, and the links between health and the environment.

The authors of the chapters include Dr Marcin Chrzanowski, Dr Agnieszka Suszczyńska, Dr Monika Klejman, and Dr Katarzyna Socha from the Biology Didactics Unit, Dr hab. Piotr Bębas, University Professor from the Institute of Experimental Zoology, representatives of the Biology Didactics Student Society “Kawka” (Anna Bernatowicz, Zuzanna Janasik, Zofia Kulikowska, Zofia Sochaczewska), and students of the educational block (Mago Gańko, Malwina Kłos, Anna Krześniak, Aleksandra Siwkowska).

The monograph is addressed to teachers, students of education-related programmes, and all those interested in environmental education and sustainable development. It provides both theoretical reflections and practical guidance for teachers and educators, supporting the development of pro-environmental attitudes and social responsibility among young people. The publication may serve as an inspiration for further educational activities and for seeking new teaching methods.
