Statement of the Dean’s Authorities of the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw

On behalf of the Faculty of Biology, we firmly oppose offensive, stigmatising and discriminatory comments appearing on social media under posts concerning the Faculty’s activities.

We do not accept any violation of the dignity of people studying, working or cooperating with the University of Warsaw, either within the university or online. Academic achievements and events in the life of our community should be treated with respect and must not become a pretext for personal attacks or hate speech.

The safety, dignity and well-being of all members of the academic community are our priority. Comments that violate the principles of mutual respect will be removed, and their authors will be blocked.
