Researchers from the Faculty of Biology among the 2% of the most influential scientists in the world

Prof. dr hab. Jerzy Dzik and prof. dr hab. Z. Maciej Gliwicz were included in the group of the most influential scientists in the world in the context of all scientific achievements.

The PLOS Biology magazine published a list of 2% of the most influential scientists worldwide, representing all fields of science. The database was created based on citations (and related indicators) of the achievements available in the Scopus database and contains a list based on two categories: the entire scientific output and only one year output. Among the scientists listed, there are 54 researchers associated with the University of Warsaw. This group includes prof. dr hab. Jerzy Dzik and prof. dr hab. Z. Maciej Gliwicz, representing the Faculty of Biology. Congratulations!
