Candidates have received the results of this year’s secondary school-leaving examinations. This is the final moment to register for studies through the University of Warsaw’s Internet Recruitment of Candidates system.
The Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, offers three programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year: Biology, Biotechnology and Nature Conservation. These programmes are designed for those interested in the world of living organisms, laboratory research, modern methods in experimental biology, biotechnology, and the practical protection of the environment and biodiversity.
Registration for first-cycle (Bachelor’s) and second-cycle (Master’s) degree programmes, is open until 9 July. The deadline for paying the recruitment fee for these programmes is 10 July. Candidates may enter their secondary school-leaving examination results in their registration accounts until 14 July. The results of the recruitment process will be announced on 22 July.
Studies at the Faculty of Biology combine theoretical classes with laboratory and field practice. Classes are held in lecture halls, modern laboratories and the Faculty’s field stations, including the Białowieża Geobotanical Station, the Mazurian Centre for Biodiversity and Education “Kumak” in Urwitałt, and the Hydrobiological Station in Pilchy. Students also have the opportunity to participate in research conducted by the Faculty’s research teams.
