Patrycja Ściślewska’s talk at TEDx University of Warsaw

On October 23, the next edition of TEDx University of Warsaw will take place. This year, the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw will be represented by Patrycja Ściślewska, a PhD candidate at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, University of Warsaw.
Her talk, titled “Your biological clock knows more about you than you think”, will open the event.
About the speaker:
Patrycja Ściślewska is a neurobiologist fascinated by sleep and circadian rhythms. In her research, she combines methods from biology, mathematics, and psychology to understand how sleep disturbances affect brain function and mental health.
Talk abstract:
Why can some people function perfectly well at night, while others thrive early in the morning? What determines our differences in energy, emotions, and concentration throughout the day? Patrycja will explore the complexity of our biological clock and show how its rhythm influences the brain, personality, and everyday behavior.
Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is required. The event will also be streamed online.
