Formal closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year at the Faculty of Biology

We warmly invite you to the formal closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, which will take place on Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00 AM in Auditorium 9B, Faculty of Biology, 1 I. Miecznikowa Street.

During the ceremony, second-year master’s students will receive certificates of completion of their studies.

As part of the event, Dominika Kulma will present her master’s thesis in the form of a lecture titled: “Pericytes – the Hidden Heroes of Regeneration.” The presentation will explore the role of MCAM+ cells in the regeneration of skeletal muscles in mice and their importance in the context of disorders such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It will also include the objectives and key findings of the research project that formed the basis of the thesis.

The ceremony will be accompanied by a performance from the Faculty of Biology Choir.
