Exhibition „Biology: Life on a Micro and Macro Scale” is open until March 6

„Biology: Life on a Micro and Macro Scale” is the title of an exhibition showcasing the scientific achievements of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw, which is presented at the Kazimierzowski Palace. The exhibition is open only until March 6. We warmly invite you to join us!

The exhibition features 20 panels highlighting selected research areas represented by the Faculty’s staff, ranging from molecular biology (studies on mRNA and proteins), through cell and organism biology (research on plant cell organelles, mammalian developmental biology, stem cells, neurobiology, protist and animal evolution, symbiosis of fungi and bacteria, tick-borne diseases) to ecology and environmental biology (investigations into human impact on birds, large predators, and plant habitats, antimicrobial resistance, bioprospecting, and bioremediation).

This exhibition is part of a series of events promoting the scientific achievements of UW faculties and centres. As in the previous events, the UW Center for Cooperation and Dialogue actively participated in organizing the exhibition.
