The inauguration of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, will take place on September 29 (Monday) at 1:00 p.m. in Auditorium 9/B. The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Professor Piotr Dawidowicz, who specializes in evolutionary and behavioral ecology of aquatic animals, particularly fish and zooplankton. His lecture will focus on the relationship between ecology (understood as one of the basic sciences) and nature conservation.
