Prof. Łukasz Drewniak’s DynaMF-TWIN project awarded Horizon Europe WIDERA Twinning funding

The DynaMF-TWIN: Twinning for Dynamic Microbial Fertilizers in Sustainable European Agriculture project, led by Prof. Łukasz Drewniak from the Institute of Bioengineering has been awarded funding under the Horizon Europe – WIDERA Twinning programme.
The Horizon Europe WIDERA Twinning programme is a European Commission initiative designed to strengthen the research capacity of universities through strategic cooperation with leading European research institutions, knowledge exchange, and the development of research and organisational excellence.
The University of Warsaw coordinates the project in collaboration with Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), KU Leuven (Belgium), and REDINN (Italy).
The project has a total budget of EUR 1,422,551.56, including EUR 644,051.56 allocated to the University of Warsaw as the consortium coordinator. The project will run for 36 months.
DynaMF-TWIN focuses on developing innovative microbial products for sustainable agriculture while strengthening the international research capacity of the Faculty of Biology and the University of Warsaw through close collaboration with European leaders in microbiology, genomics, analytical chemistry, and research management.
