22 exhibitors at the Interdisciplinary Career Fair at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw

On 5 March, the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw hosted the Interdisciplinary Career Fair, organised by the Career Office of the Faculty of Biology. The event was opened by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dr Takao Ishikawa.

Participants had the opportunity to talk to exhibitors at open stands, as well as take part in workshops and discussion panels.

A total of 22 exhibitors from institutions and companies took part in the Fair, including: the General Directorate for Environmental Protection, the School of Education, PRO-ENVIRONMENT, Human Biome, RDLS – Research and Development for Life Sciences, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Mazovia Province Government, Warsaw Waterworks, Vetlab – Polish Veterinary Laboratories, Warsaw Genomics, BACTrem, Coca-Cola HBC Polska, ecoRGS, InventionBio, the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection, the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police, BHUMI, WWF, Bioforum, the Internal Security Agency, Analityk Genetyka / Analityk, and HOYA.

The partners of the event were: the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Geology, the Faculty of Psychology, the Faculty of Geography, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Chemistry, the MISMaP College, the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences, the University Centre for Environmental Research, and the Student Council of the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, while the media patronage was provided by Radio Kampus, the University of Warsaw Career Office, and the University of Warsaw Incubator. The event was also held under the substantive patronage of the Sectoral Council for Competence in Life Sciences.

We would like to sincerely thank all exhibitors and participants for being with us, and we hope that this year’s Fair opened the door to new and inspiring collaborations.
