Research areas:

  • Dynamics of vegetation and plant populations in a natural landscape: a long-term study of delineated areas, seasonal dynamics of forest biomes. The role of felled tree and wild boar rooting in the dynamics of forest ecosystems, plant demography in the succession process. The invasion of foreign plant species, synanthropization of plant cover and landscape.
  • Geobotanical cartography and telemetry: theoretical foundations and methodology.
  • Cartography: of plants, dynamics and anthropogenic transformation of vegetation.
  • Cartographic interpretation of ecological processes and phenomena. Application of ground level and aerial photography in the interpretation of the structure and changes in vegetation.
